This Border Leicester Wool is spun at Blue Mountain Farm & Fiber Mill with a mix of Crown Hill Farm’s fibers from our mindfully-raised sheep — Sarah, Abraham, Lily, Ruth & Isaac and some dark Border Leicester fleece gifted to me.

This 3-ply is twisted from 2-ply white and 1-ply dark wool. I've dyed these skeins with colors from our natural dye gardens and foraged on Crown Hill Farm property. Toasted Nut is made with walnuts from a tree on our farm. I collect them and they make this wonderfully warm, rich brown.

Due to the nature of natural dye, there may be slight variations in color throughout each skein.

Everything from Crown Hill Farm are Heirloom varieties and Heritage breeds, sustainably and mindfully grown with respect to land, plants, animals and soil.
