This Border Leicester Wool is spun at Blue Mountain Farm & Fiber Mill with only Crown Hill Farm’s fibers from our mindfully-raised eldest sheep — Sarah, Abraham & Lily.

I've dyed these skeins with colors from our natural dye gardens and foraged on Crown Hill Farm property. “Spring Variations” is made from marigold flowers and saved onion skins modified with iron.

I love this strong green that reminds me of the neon bright greens of early spring. Due to the nature of natural dye, there may be slight variations in color throughout a skein.

Everything from Crown Hill Farm are Heirloom varieties and Heritage breeds, sustainably and mindfully grown with respect to land, plants, animals and soil.
